What is an API request and how many do I need per month?

Every time your app stores or retrieves any data, that’s a request. We give you 30,000 free requests per month which will cover quite a large amount of traffic.

What happens if I go over my limits?

Don’t worry, when you’re getting close to reaching your API request limit, we’ll send you an email to let you know. If you haven’t entered your card details, we’ll ask you to add them so we can upgrade your store’s scale for that month.

Isn’t open source software cheaper?

30,000 API requests and our Community plan lets you create a full shopping experience for free. Our paid packages might not look cheap at first glance but the benefits of our API based approach provide real value, flexibility, and lower infrastructure costs.

Will the Community package always be free?

Yes. Whilst we might change the usage parameters, those who already have the Community package will be able to keep it forever. However, we do reserve the right to change or remove the free package for new users in the future. If in doubt, sign up now if you haven’t already.

I need more API requests and custom features than the existing pricing offers. Is that possible?

Yes, we can increase any limit to suit your needs but please note pricing for custom plans will usually be higher than the self-serve pricing. Please contact us and we’ll create an estimate for your project.

Am I tied into a contract?

No. Our paid packages are invoiced monthly and they can be canceled or up-/downgraded at any time for the following month’s invoice cycle. However, if preferred, we can structure a contract depending on individual requirements. Just ask.
