As you may have read on TechCrunch, moltin is now part of the YC family.
Y Combinator is a Silicon Valley-based seed accelerator, that provides mentorship, advice, and connections to a select group of startups twice a year. YC boasts an unrivaled alumni network, featuring the likes of Dropbox, Airbnb, and Reddit. As well as launching some of the most recognized developer tools in the world including Heroku, Docker, and Parse.
Being selected to take part of the program is an amazing opportunity for us to learn from successful startup founders and leverage the combined experience of their extensive network. We’re humbled to be amongst some of the best API companies in the world like Stripe, Lob, and KomonoLabs.
It’s been a huge step for moltin to move halfway across the world, but for some of you, it may not be an obvious one. It wasn’t a decision we took lightly, but to be in the heart of Silicon Valley and to work alongside some of the most talented and creative people in tech right now has been truly inspirational. Coupled with our amazing batchmates and invaluable mentoring we’ve received, we’re in a better place to push forward and deliver on our vision.
The next steps for our company are being heavily influenced by everything we’ve learned over the past 3 months. You can expect to see some very important and much-requested updates including - some huge features for the API, a number of new SDKs (One of them will involve a fingerprint) and a brand new store management dashboard.
